Amy Cotter is an Auckland based actor trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has worked extensively in Theatre in London before moving to Aotearoa in 2022 to explore the TV and Film landscape. Theatre work includes ‘Clybourne Park' directed by Lindsay Posner, 'The Wolves' by Sarah DeLappe, and 'The President’s Holiday’ at Hampstead Theatre. Amy will soon be appearing in a guest role on Shortland Street as well as the award-winning US play ‘Oleanna’ by David Mamet at the Pumphouse Theatre. Amy is an accomplished Spoken Word Poet, writing and starring in short film ‘Fish Out of Water’ which received multiple award nominations and official film festival selections across the UK. Other credits include comedy shorts with 'Get Pulped' and voice over work. A keen sportswoman, Amy trains regularly in running, swimming, screen combat and yoga. |
