Mya Pritchard is a professional dancer and actor of NZ European and Samoan descent, based in Auckland. She has showcased her talent in various productions, including the 2024 short film Emmer, where she portrayed Lucy, and the television series Happiness as a flashmob dancer. Her theatre experience includes roles in Into the Woods Jr. (2019), Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat (2019), and Beauty and the Beast Jr. (2017), among others. Trained in a diverse range of dance styles such as acro, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, and jazz, Mya has performed in advanced dance troupes and hip-hop crews, competing both nationally and internationally. She is also a dance teacher at DANZA Dance Studios in Auckland, specialising in jazz, acrobatics, and company classes. |
