Sam, born and raised in Cambridge, Waikato, discovered his passion for performance early on, later refining his craft through the highly competitive Unitec Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts program.

In his first year out of drama school, Sam secured a role on Shortland Street, kickstarting a successful career in television. He has since appeared in numerous TV commercials across New Zealand and performed in professional theatre productions, including The Homecoming (2006), directed by Paul Gittins, where he shared the stage with some of New Zealand’s most respected actors.

Beyond acting, Sam has built a thriving career in media advertising, lending his deep, resonant voice to hundreds of radio commercials nationwide. A talented musician, he is also an exceptional guitarist, mastering both electric and acoustic styles.
